You were formed in a secret place by a loving Father, the source of your being. He is the Author of your very heartbeat, your breath of life, your nature, character, which is designed to be a reflection of a part of who He is, unique, a place in His heart that no one else can fill. You have a destiny on earth and in heaven that belongs to no one else. You are irreplaceable, designed with a great purpose. This Eternal Creator will watch over you to see that your destiny comes to fulfillment. For it is His design.

He held you in His heart, cherishing and protecting you. He sheltered you in secret to protect you and nurture you, so that all your capabilities and unique gifts would be present and available, that you may serve and worship Him in spirit and in truth, and minister to His chosen people.
You have been wonderfully formed, carefully, in extreme detail, by the One who made all the stars, planets, mountains, seas, all the grains of sand.

All His thoughts about you, His visions and dreams and plans for you are vast beyond your imagination or understanding. They outnumber the stars of heaven and the grains of the sand of the sea! All your life long you will never be able to grasp the height, depths, length and breadth of His vast love for you. You will need the eternal existence in heaven to which you are destined to comprehend this! But during your life, He will desire to confirm His lovingkindness to you, and give you signs and confirmation of this loving compassion. He will do so whether you affirm Him or not, but so much more if you draw near to Him, following His good and perfect instructions, and allowing Him to shepherd you like a sheep. And He will give you wisdom to pass along to others whose hearts are turned to Him. You will impact the lives of others, few or many. If few, your impact will resound through eternity in His Kingdom. Your are designed to have an eternal destiny regardless of how many you influence. The influence you have been given will remain.

You will need family, community, friends, and the body of Messiah to guard you, build you up, encourage you, and help meet the needs you have. Sometimes you will be desperately in need of them, and always desperately in need of this Loving Father Creator.

This Psalm 139 is deeply personal dialogue between a creature and his Creator. Describing the intimate relationship of one whose very fiber of being to the last detail depends upon the lovingkindness and compassion of the Loving Creator who formed you, and all of us, in infinite wisdom, and tender care that is beyond all human capacity.

Let us resolve to see Him clearly, love Him dearly, follow Him nearly. For He is our very breath of life, the fountain of living waters. May we resolve to breathe in His Spirit inspired breath of life, compassionately and freely given to us.

Lyrics

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.

LORD, You have searched me, and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;

you perceive my thoughts from afar.
you're familiar with all my ways.

You discern my going out and my lying down;
and my lying down

You know every word before I say it, LORD
you're familiar with all my ways.

LORD, You have searched me, and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;

Behind and before, before and behind
you have laid your hand upon me.

The knowledge of this is too wonderful,
too wondrous for me to attain.

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there,
if I make my bed in hell, you are there;

If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,

even there your hand will guide me
your right hand hold me fast.

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I go O LORD?

If I say, “Surely the darkness, the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”

the darkness won't be dark to you.
The night will shine as the day,

for darkness is as light to you.

The night will shine as the day,
Darkness is as light to you, for no one can hide from you.
Darkness is as light, nothing is hidden from you, night will shine.

If I say, “Surely the darkness, the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
the darkness won't be dark to you.
The night will shine as the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
The night will shine like the day, the night will shine as day,
for darkness is as light to you.

For you created my inmost being,
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully made;
wondrously made, created by you.

Your works are wonderful, I know this full well.
Your works are wonderful, I know this full well.

My frame, it never was hidden from you
woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my body unformed and in secret,
woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your works are wonderful, I know this full well.
Your works are wonderful, I know this full well.

All the days ordained for me were written in your book.
Before one of them came to be they were written in your book.

How precious are your thoughts to me, how many are they God!
outnumbering the grains of sand.
Were I to count them LORD, my God, the sum of them is many,
more than all the grains of sand.

I awake and I find I am still with you,
you know when I sit and when I rise.

I awake and I find I am still with you,
you know me, LORD and all my ways.

If only you, God, would slay the wicked!

Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries misuse your name.

Do I not hate those who hate you, LORD,
and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?

I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.

Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.

See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
